| I did my first serious job when
I was a student: part-time clerk at Decathlon,
the sport shop
two days after my university degree I started
a collaboration with Bocconi University as Research Assistant
in the department of political economy, at the ISLA, with Sergio
Alessandrini and Carlo Secchi. There I contributed to two
research projects and I also furthered my thesis project. I
acquired a scientific research method and I learned how to use quantitative
tools
in 1999 I had a short but meaningful experience
at Federlegno-arredo,
as assistant to the international promotion director. The main activity
was the organisation of some associate companies’ participation
to the "Levante" international exhibition in Tirana, Albania
from 2000 to 2002, I worked as Export
Manager for Effebiquattro,
a leading company in the production and commercialisation of design
doors for interiors, branded by "Dilà". Under the supervision
of Giuseppe Piana, commercial director, I understood the meaning
of "marketing" and "sale". In Effebiquattro
I contributed to the export development, doubling
the foreign revenue in 20 months
after the direct experience inside the company,
I was Consultant for Conceive
(Council group) where I could offer my knowledge and competence
to several client companies while they were approaching the foreign
market. In 2002 and 2003 I worked on strategy, marketing, business
development, fusions and incorporations, always from an
international point of view, specially in South-East Asia
at this point I thought of taking a sabbatical
year and going back to studying: I successfully did 38th edition
of the Master in International Business
by the Italian Foreign Trade Commission, one of the few courses
accredited by ASFOR.
For the Master project work, I lived for two months in Shangai,
China
in 2004 and 2005 I was Project Manager
in Promos,
the Milan Chamber of Commerce’s Agency for the international activities.
Here I managed several projects, all about the support of new technologies
for companies’ internationalisation
from 2006 I returned to the sales activity working
as Export Area Manager in DITEC,
an Italian manufacturer of automatic entrance systems (automatic
gates, automatic pedestrian doors, high speed industrial doors etc.).
I manage the areas of Africa, Middle East and Balkans
